In this globalized world, we are living in the era of advanced technology, this technology is making our life sedentary.

No doubt we are making our Gen Next techno Savvy, but knowingly or unknowingly, we are passing this sedentary lifestyle and its disadvantages to them.
We can see child obesity and teenagers are developing diseases that were formerly seen only in adults.
What is Sedentary Lifestyle?
A lifestyle involves plenty of sitting and lying down, with very little or NO Exercise.

Harmful Effects of Sedentary Lifestyle on Human Body:
  1. Lower Metabolism, low calorie burn, weak immune system, more inflammation and may develop a hormonal imbalance.
  2. Weight Gain: Sedentary lifestyle leads to increase risk of chronic diseases like, obesity, diabetes, high blood pressure (also known as silent killer), Coronary Artery Disease, Stoke.
  3. Osteoporosis: Human body and muscles are made to move. However, more sitting and inactivity can lead to osteoporosis.
  4. Harmful effects of a sedentary lifestyle is on the mind. It increases the chances of Anxiety, Dementia, Depression.
Movement is essential for health.
Physical activity and exercise support your overall longevity.
Humans are pretty habitual creatures.
Form a habit of 30 mins physical activity every day.

“ Human body was never designed for a Sedentary Lifestyle, it was designed to hunt saber tooth tigers and walk 40 miles a day!”
