Phodnichi Poli/ Kuskara/ Poliche Tukade
Serves: 2 person
Time: 15 minutes
Ingredients:
6 to 7 leftover Chapatis
2 Tsp Oil
1/4 tsp Cumin seeds
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
Pinch of asafoetida
1/4 tspTurmeric Powder
1 and 2tsp Red Chili Powder
2 to 3 Curry Leaves
1mediumOnion Finely Chopped
2 Tsp Peanuts (optional)
Salt to taste
1/2 tsp Sugar
Finely Chopped Coriander.
Method:
1) Take leftover chapatis crumble it with the help of mixer/ food
processor, or simply with hands.
2) Heat 2 Tsp oil into a pan. Add mustard seeds, cumin seeds,
curry leaves and peanuts fry it well, add onion saute till get light golden
color. Then add asafetida, turmeric powder, red chili powder.
3) Add crumbled chapati, salt and sugar, mix wel.
4) covered and cook for 2 minutes.
Garnish with coriander. Serve hot with curd or butter milk.
